As soon as you book your wedding you’ll gain access to our ‘little black book’ of wedding suppliers, including some amazing caterers using the freshest local produce. Our covered catering area is available exclusively for use by external caterers of your choice, giving you the flexibility to design a menu that reflects your personal taste and style.

Wrap Around Food
Although we don’t provide the Wedding Breakfast, we do supply all of the wrap-around food including some casual dining options to get the celebrations underway and help keep your guests satisfied. Our arrival sharing feast is the perfect opportunity to get together with family and friends for a relaxed evening before the big day.
Our newly installed wood-fired pizza oven is proving to be very popular and is perfect for some late night feasting. You and your guests can enjoy a delicious selection of pizzas in the courtyard as you watch the sun set over the Lake District fells.
We can also provide a delicious breakfast each morning to all guests who are staying with us.

Your Choice of Bars!
Weddings can be thirsty work! Luckily we have not one, but TWO bars for you and your guests to keep your hydration levels up!
Our newly refurbished Explorer’s Bar has plenty of space for you and your guests to mingle, and fabulous fell views through the large picture windows. Our Speakeasy Bar is a more intimate space, but no less impressive. Well stocked with a wonderful selection of rare and unusual spirits including world Whiskey, Gin and other exotic spirits. We can make a mean cocktail in here too! Lots of our couples choose to serve a signature cocktail to get the party started, just ask us if you’d like some suggestions.
And last but not least, we have our Courtyard Bar. We work with a number of fantastic local breweries and will be happy to source a barrel or two of amazing local beer for your guests to help themselves!
