We’re thrilled to work with some of the very best wedding caterers in the Lake District, so when it comes to choosing the food for your special day, whether you want a formal wedding breakfast, casual street food or canapés on the terrace, we can connect you with the creme de la creme!
As soon as you book your wedding you’ll gain access to our ‘little black book’ of wedding suppliers, including some amazing caterers using the freshest local produce. Of course, you’re very welcome to choose any caterer you wish for your special day. Our dedicated catering kitchen is available exclusively for use by external caterers of your choice, giving you the flexibility to design a menu that reflects your personal taste and style.

Wrap Around Food
Although we don’t provide the Wedding Breakfast, we can provide some casual dining options to get the celebrations underway and help keep your guests satisfied. Our arrival buffet is the perfect opportunity to get together with family and friends for a relaxed evening before the big day.
Our newly installed wood-fired pizza oven is proving to be very popular and is perfect for some late night feasting. You and your guests can enjoy a delicious selection of pizzas in the courtyard as you watch the sun set over the Lake District fells.

Your Choice of Bars!
Weddings can be thirsty work! Luckily we have not one, but TWO bars for you and your guests to keep your hydration levels up!
Our newly refurbished Explorer’s Bar has plenty of space for you and your guests to mingle, and fabulous fell views through the large picture windows. Our Whiskey Bar is a more intimate space, but no less impressive. Well stocked with a wonderful range of whiskey, gin and other spirits. We can make a mean cocktail in here too! Lots of our couples choose to serve a signature cocktail to get the party started, just ask us if you’d like some suggestions.
And last but not least, we have our Courtyard Bar. Just choose your favourite barrel of beer and your guests can help themselves!

Drinks Packages
We offer a choice of drinks packages with a variety of fizz, beer, wine and soft drinks for your guests to enjoy and toast the happy couple. Depending on your budget and preference you can choose from our Bronze, Silver or Gold drinks package. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a corkage fee and supply your own drinks.
You can also choose to treat your guests to an Open Bar. Just choose the amount you’d like to set aside and when it runs out you can top it up or switch to a cash bar.
